The company: Our client is a successful manufacturing business whose product supplies a niche and growing international market. US owned, the business is seeking a qualified accountant (ideally ACCA or CIMA) to join their management team.
The role: You will be responsible for US and UK reporting requirements. Exposure to multi-currency acccounting is essential. You will report to the Managing Director on site with dotted line to the States. Heading up a small accounts team, you will also be repsonsible for the IT department. You will be responsible for liaison with operations and for developing good working relationships with the management team.
The candidate: You must be qualified, and have a solid background in a manufacturing environment. The ability to communicate at all levels and build strong working relationships with operations is essential.
