Job Elements: -
- To receive and process Customer orders / schedules and to raise corresponding sales orders and works orders.
- To deal with our Customers telephone queries on a continuous basis.
- Advise the Customer of any change that might affect their requirements.
- Advise the Customer of price changes to existing components where required.
- Be involved in the scheduling / planning meeting-where necessary.
- Organise transport for collections / deliveries.
- Filing.
- To distribute Mail internally and to take Mail to the sorting office where required.
- To support on quality techniques-Continuous Improvement.
The ideal candidate will have: -
- Ideally the person will have good IT skills, be highly organised, and have a commitment to providing the highest quality customer care.
- Previous experience of working within a Commercial / Sales team is desirable, although not essential, as full training will be given.
- Previous manufacturing industry experience would be advantageous.
