Our client is one of the industry leaders in reclaiming the next generation of 200 and 300 millimetre silicon wafers.
They now require an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the design and development of wafer reclaim work processes and support manufacturing in the achievement of daily output and yield targets
Reporting to the Process Manager.
Responsibilities to include:
• To sustain production on a daily basis minimising process downtime, quality defects.
• Project management of new customer qualifications including customer feedback i.e. written reports.
• Design and implementation of experiments for the purpose of optimising wafer reclaim processes.
• Implementation of continuous improvement programmes.
• To assist sales department with technical customer issues.
• To work on customer corrective actions/returns and complaints
• Compile process FMEA’s in line with change requirements
• Establish and develop work instructions and control plans.
• Operator training in relation to process changes and new process introduction.
• Take into account health safety and environmental issues when carrying out all aspects of the process engineering role.
Candidate Requirements:
• Ideally graduate with a degree in a Science or engineering related subject, preferably Chemistry or physics.
• Previous experience in a technical semiconductor or chemical engineering role.
• Experience of Chemical Mechanical Processing.
• Familiar with standard process improvement / quality techniques i.e. FMEA’s
• Experience / Knowledge of working within semi-conductor industry would be advantageous but not essential
