My client is looking for a Sheltered Housing Supervisor to complete an on going temporary contract whilst covering long term absence. You will be required to supervise and monitor the work of staff within a number of sheltered complexes – Scheme Managers, Mobile Scheme Managers, Relief Scheme Managers and Cleaners.
Key responsibilities will be as follows:
•To assist in the development of an effective, efficient and caring sheltered housing service ensuring older people are provided with a safe, supportive and balanced environment in which to live.
•To effectively manage a number of sheltered housing complexes ensuring the landlord’s responsibilities are met.
•To implement good practice and continuous improvement in sheltered housing.
•To promote equality and the understanding of diversity across the Association.
•To ensure that all activities are designed to progress the Association, reflect best practice and strive for continuous improvement of the service.
To apply for this role you must have the following skills:
• Knowledge of health & Safety requirements
• Experience of working within a housing environment
• Knowledge of housing legislation
• Access to a vehicle to enable business travel
• To be caring and understanding about the needs of older people
• An enhanced CRB Disclosure
