Receive nurse training and play a key role in the defence of the UK
The Job
The RAF is a great place to start training as a Registered General Nurse (RGN). The Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service offers a three-year training course for Student Nurses within the Faculty of Health and Community Care at the University of Central England. About half your time is spent on clinical placements, which take place at both NHS and military establishments. Successful graduation will lead to registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult) on the Professional Register of the Nursing and Midwifery Council together with the award of a BSc (Honours) in Nursing. You’ll then enter productive service as a Staff Nurse (RGN).

Qualifications: Minimum of 200 UCAS points at Advanced level, including a science-based subject. Alternative qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Nationality: Citizen of the UK, the Commonwealth or the Republic of Ireland since birth; or a naturalised British citizen
