A new and exciting job opportunity has arisen within an office just in Cardiff Gate for an experienced administrator. Working in a busy and demanding environment, you will have excellent experience of working in an administrative capacity.
Main duties and responsibilities will include –
· Receiving of and re-directing of incoming department calls
· Opening, sorting and distribution of company and department post
· Franking of external department post
· Administration and distribution of drawings
· Typing of reports, meeting minutes and letters as required
· Providing diary management and secretarial assistance
· Liaising with the Receptionist as to the planning and organising of meetings and events
· Booking of accommodation and making travel arrangements
· Assisting with the compilation of O&M manuals
· “Power User” responsibilities – providing system training with department
· Copying and packaging of drawings and specification information for design managers to include enquiries to suppliers, subcontractors and consultants.
· Updating design managers handbooks and re issuing SOP changes to design managers.
· Maintaining product library and supplier/consultant database.
· General filing and setting up of project files.
· Electronic document management- downloading documents and filing where applicable.
· Admin support to project planning and design department output.

· Excellent administrative and typing skills. Minimum RSA II or equivalent
· Excellent telephone manner
· Good working knowledge of Excel and Word required
· Ability to work to deadlines
· Ability to maintain an excellent standard of work when working under pressure and to work with minimum supervision
· Experience of diary management for several members of your team.
