• To continually improve management of people and process against agreed targets and objectives. To include forward planning of people/materials/equipment
• Management of staff in section.
• To ensure all staff work within a safe environment.
• To ensure all products are produced to the required quality standards and product specification, whilst ensuring hygiene standards for your section.
• To control materials within the section.
• To ensure production efficiencies and productivity are achieved for section.
• Development of Operatives – identifying and developing key skills, knowledge and experience where necessary, and in relation to career development/succession.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Must have previous experience of managing a team.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of food production.
• Previous supervisory experience in FMCG, Food manufacturing.
• Experience of GMP, HACCP, product assessment, customer complaints, materials management.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, able to drive changes, and identify possible upgrades.
• IT literate.
