Job Elements: -
• To coordinate the improvement activities within the continuous improvement department through the use of six sigma and lean tools and techniques.
• Carry out 5S audits as per agreed schedule.
• Coordinate improvement activities based on 5S findings.
• Carry out VSM activities as per agreed schedule
• Coordinate improvement activities based on VSM findings.
• To communicate 5S and VSM results in the company format to all relevant parties.
• To participate as required in scheduled Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen events.
• Provide weekly reports on CI activities including projects completed and projects opened.
• Train and develop the CIP facilitators as and when required.

What the company are seeking in the successful candidate:
• GCSEs or equivalent.
• Automotive background would be useful.
• Willingness to learn, develop self and develop others.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to prioritise work loads.
• Being able to manage competing priorities.
• Organisational skills.
• Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement techniques.
• Training experience advantageous.
• IT literate with experience of MS Office.
