Head of Software Development
Location – Nr Newport
50k-65k depending on experience
At Micross Recruitment we are Specialists within IT recruitment sector, we currently have a client who requires a Head of Software development, you will report directly into the CTO and lead the Companies distributed development team (with both onshore and offshore elements) in the delivery of multiple full development cycle projects. My client currently employs over 100 experienced staff and work within Europe and America.
The specific skills and experience you require for this role are:
• A background within a similar role leading a software department and multiple functions where you have interfaced with all sections of the company
• Strong managerial and project delivery skills
• Delivery of both large scale and multiple projects at one time
• Hands-on experience of structured development environments and methodologies are a strong advantage.
• Experience of leading and managing project teams building solutions using Microsoft technologies, including both Classic ASP / VB6 and the Microsoft .NET technology platform.
