Full Description:
Job Elements: -
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Maintaining and updating current customer specifications.
• Keeping up-to-date with legislation relating to the company’s products and ensuring that all products conform to relevant legal and customer requirements.
• This will involve, and therefore require knowledge of, systems such as Redsky, webtrax, Hamilton and Grant, HARA documentation and artwork approval.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers is critical.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of creating and maintaining specifications for own-label products is essential.
• The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship building skills with experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment and experience in meeting the requirements of UK retailers.
• Additional knowledge required (formal training desirable) in: -
o HACCP
o Internal auditing
o Food Safety
o Food Science / Technology
