My client is a national finance organisation – part of one of the largest banking groups in the UK. This position is located in its flagship office based in Cardiff city centre.
This is a pivotal position to the business and will have remit across multiple sites around the UK. Managing a team of four resource planners and two MI staff, based in Edinburgh. There will be requirement to travel to Edinburgh – approximately once per month.
This role is suitable for an experienced MI / Resource / Operations Manager with a proven track record in a contact centre environment. This position is highly regarded and will enable a long and successful career with access to career progression across the Group.
Job description
· Provide industry-leading measurement and headcount forecasting services to operational managers.
· Provide dynamic intra-day management information and support to all areas of the business, through a highly skilled team, ensuring correct resources are available.
· Responsible for the production of headcount forecast and actual requirements, ensuring they are updated when business forecasts are produced.
· Responsible for the accuracy of annual budgetary forecasts in line with business volumes.
· Manage the production and dissemination of all Management Information (MI) including dashboards produced throughout the operational environment.
· Ensure the MI and resource allocation is constantly reviewed and altered to reflect the business requirements.
· Manage and produce robust resource contingency plans for all areas of operations.
· Use a Consultancy approach to manage operations headcount and related business projects, delivering actions and recommendations where appropriate.
· Manage a team of six direct reports through coaching and development, ensuring a high level of performance outcome.
· Liaise with colleagues across the company and the wider group to ensure we leverage existing tools and techniques.
