A fantastic opportunity for a project engineer has arisen with an extremely successful automotive component manufacturer. Based in South Wales and with several facilities around the world, they supply high quality products to several blue chip clients. As a project engineer you will be directly involved with new product launches and development as well as CAD designs and modifications for their complex systems.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Using Pro-Engineer to create new designs and make modifications to existing models
*Interpret and review design requirements from customer specifications.
*Compile reports and studies for FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA and APQP reviews
*Analyse product performance and understand design for assembly techniques.
*Close customer liaison throughout the design and development process
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Ideally you will be degree qualified with 2 years experience in a similar role
*HNC level Engineers welcomed to apply also
*Experience of using Pro-Engineer
*Good communication skills and commercial awareness
