Product Development Engineer

Main Purpose of the role:

To have a proactive role within our new products development team, bringing new innovate products to market and provide support to enhance our existing product range.

Our Company:

Frontier Group is a worldwide supplier of an award winning range of medical products and devices. Based in South Wales we are a leading manufacturer boasting an innovative in-house design team within our Research and Development department.

Your Role:
Reporting to the R & D Manager your position will include:
 Design and development of innovate new plastic injection moulded products.
 Project management and new product introduction.
 Documenting and reviewing product development and related projects.
 Develop an awareness of market trends and identifying new product opportunities.
 Customer liaison both externally and internally.

You will possess both a hands on and analytical approach to provide technical resolution of any outstanding problems relating to product development and design. You should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to design for a high volume injection moulded products within a progressive manufacturing company.

Your Knowledge:
 Minimum HNC qualification in Industrial Product Design or related subject relevant to post.
 2D & 3D Cad skills ideally - Autodesk Inventor.
 Team player but capable of ‘thinking outside the box'.


Salary : Up to £30k p.a.
Hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Pension scheme– contributory pension scheme.
