| The Role: • Create and develop VE ideas • Create engineering change notes, drawings, test reports and other relevant documentation • Create New Component Evaluation plans & carry out evaluation • Ensuring any improvement activities/changes are fed into new model developments. • Resolve Field Quality issues and establish root cause • Resolve Production Quality issues reported by Production and establish root cause • Create and develop Continuous Improvement ideas • Liaise with customers and suppliers on all quality and cost aspects of product. What the company is looking for in the successful candidate: • Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a technical subject • 3D CAD skills, preferably CATIA V5 • Knowledge of the design of plastic and metal components • Working knowledge of the Oracle ERP system • Proven design knowledge and experience involving mechanical and electrical components and assemblies For further vacancies, please visit www.petrie.co.uk |
