Job Elements: -
• To support the introduction of New Models, as part of a team, by applying the necessary Design and Development processes in appreciation of business objectives.
• By use of theoretical knowledge, application of scientific tools and development of product knowledge, support the analysis team to meet the requirements of customer and business demands.
• To formulate elements of the overall product concept with the understanding of market requirements, achievability, customer trends and technical capability.
• To gather and evaluate data that affects the design / task / measured performance against the functional requirements of the product or system (Using appropriate equipment and tools).
• To follow project management controls and document results in a systematic structured manner.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• We are looking for somebody that we can mould into the role and train, so we are not looking for someone with specific design experience, hence the salary.
• We are looking for a college graduate of HNC / HND level minimum.
• Mechanical bias is highly desirable
• Candidates with some experience of any drawing packages (CAD) would be desirable.
