Job Elements: -
• Manage the Site Electrical Engineering function relating to plant, systems, services and people, supporting the efficient operation of Manufacturing Departments.
• Advise the Site Engineering Manager on all matters relating to statutory requirements and legislation, keeping abreast of current and future developments.
• Ensure resources and systems are developed to provide continuity and performance in support of the strategic improvement in asset O.E.E. and output growth, whilst ensuring department budgets are controlled and value for money is achieved.
• Develop subordinates to enable individuals to deliver their full potential and maximize their performance, aligned to business needs.
• The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the Site’s Engineering Standards are maintained and updated, providing an advisory service for Maintenance and Capital Expenditure Projects.
• Continuously review procedures, methods and manpower including all matters relating to safe working procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably a Chartered Engineer.
• Previous experience in a similar role essential.
• Manufacturing industry experience essential.
• IT literate.
