Full Description:

Job Elements: -
• Compilation and preparation of Technical designs.
• Compile and the issuance of Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) in line with the companies published QMS procedures.
• PAP co-ordination, in line with the customer’s requirements and/or companies APQP process. (NPI, PFMEA, DFMEA).
• Coordination of specific NPI activities.
• Liaison with customers and suppliers in support of Technical issues.

What the company are seeking in the successful candidate: -
• Previous experience in a mechanical engineering design environment essential.
• Graduate or time served mechanical engineer with min HND qualification.
• Must be fully proficient with 3D cad modelling using Pro Engineer Wildfire II.
• Experienced in procedures that support the design and development requirements of ISO 9001-2000.
• A candidate with good project management skills using Microsoft project manager software would be a strong advantage.
• A good understanding of process technologies within the sheet, light metal fabrication, rubber application and plastics processes using DFM techniques again would be a strong advantage.
