Production Supervisor
The Company
Our client is a long established, specialist manufacturer of ear moulds for used in hearing aids and hearing protection products.
They are a major supplier to the NHS and are seeking to expand the range of products and services.
Job Details
• Responsible to the Operations Director
• Responsible for subordinates: 3 section leaders, 25 lab staff
Job Summary
• To be responsible for all aspects of production throughout the lab
• Maximise productivity
• Maintain production equipment
• Improve product quality
• Provide continuous skills training
• Motivate and monitor performance of section leaders
• Investigate, evaluate and introduce new production methods
Personal Qualities
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing methods, ideally within a plastic parts or medical devices environment although this is not essential.
• Strong Management skills
• Highly Motivated, accurate with good time management skills
