| Position based in Swindon Our client is part of a world-wide manufacturing structure which includes facilities in France, Germany, Spain and the USA. They have 2 UK sites, one in South Wales and the other in Swindon. They employ over 700 employees in the design development and production of orthopaedic implants and instrumentation. They are a pioneer and market leader in many of the most critical and exciting areas of reconstructive surgery. Due to New product Developments they are now seeking a Time Served Manufacturing Engineer or an ambitious graduate who has a year in industry experience behind them and are keen to join this successful international medical devices company. Working within the New Product Development Team and reporting the NPD Engineering manager, you will be required: Main duties: To ensure maximum use of facilities and effective plant layout enhance lean manufacturing systems Follow and implement Continuous Improvement techniques to maximise Product and Process development. Candidate requirements The successful candidates will be either Time Served and experienced or a graduate in Mechanical or Manufacturing or Process Engineering or related Graduate Candidates will preferably have had a years experience in Industry since graduating or a year out with an employer through a sandwich course Any experience in CNC Milling and Turning, 3-d CAD/CAM, Manufacturing Technology, Lean / Kaizen, Metal Cutting, Plastics Composites |
