Continued demand has created an opportunity for an experienced professional to provide insightful market analysis both internally across the company and externally to key customers. This is a pivotal role within the business that interfaces with all departments and at all levels.
Main Duties
Responsible for effectively managing the relationships between the company and the various market data and services providers.
Briefing, selecting and managing external research agencies in conducting projects for the company.
Profitably - manage the Category Budget
Provide all relevant data / information and analysis for own label presentations / tenders / business reviews.
· Provide relevant information to assist in year on year growth in-line with the company vision.
Candidate requirements
Graduate calibre or equivalent desirable.
Experience preferably from within FMCG industry, either with a manufacturer or agency side, in data analyst or category management position
Knowledge of current trends within the FMCG industry, including current retailer trends
Knowledge of the main continuous and primary data sources
Appreciation of the manufacturing process and product supply chain
