South Wales

A leading worldwide automotive supplier is looking for an experienced quality manager to drive through their exceptional standards. Arising from an internal reorganisation, this role has been created due to a large sustained period of growth and prosperity. A highly motivated and practiced quality engineer is required to ensure their recognised standards are upheld throughout the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
oOverseeing entirety of the business' quality function
oMaintaining and directing ISO 9000, 14000 and TS16949 standards, including auditing procedures
oLeading manufacturing, customer and supplier quality issues, including FMEA investigations and 8D analysis
oInvolvement in interdepartmental task forces to improve overall quality
o
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oIdeally degree qualification
oPrevious experience in a highly regulated quality industry, such as automotive
oGood knowledge of quality tools and procedures
o6 sigma and lean quality procedures are highly beneficial
