Job Elements: -
• To effectively manage all day to day technical issues, ensuring that support is provided in line with the technical agenda for the site and that the appropriate level of technical expertise is in place in all areas.
• To have processes in place that ensure that food materials dispatch are safe, legal and of the quality expected by the business and customers.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A Science / Food related Degree would be desirable.
• HACCP knowledge essential and ideally BRC standards.
• Experience in managing teams and implementing successful continuous improvement programmes.
• FMCG / Food manufacturing background essential.
• Intermediate food hygiene (CIEH) and Knowledge of food legislation.
• Track record of driving technical requirements across a food business.
