WELSH SPEAKING IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE

Overall Purpose of the Job

" To provide support to Divisional HR teams and line managers on all day to day people issues through the medium of Welsh and English.

" To provide expert advice to line managers on the contextual interpretations of policies, agreements, procedures and Guidelines.

" To work with the Divisional HR teams & line managers to support and build line management capability by communicating, educating and coaching managers in new procedures and ways of working within HR Direct and in the Company.

" Act as a point of escalation for the HR administration teams, where appropriate providing advice and guidance to HR Team Leaders

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

- The ability to communicate in Welsh
- Proven HR Experience
- Qualified or studying for CIPD
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to deal effectively with telephone/email enquiries from diverse sources on a wide range of topics
- Proven record of remaining calm and professional when handling emotional phone calls/situations
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively within a deadline driven and change environment
- Ability to use initiative to make decision when working with ambiguity
- Assertive with the ability to work in demanding situations
- Able to work effectively within a team in situ and remotely
- IT literate with the aptitude to learn new systems and skills
