This well established international manufacturing company within the automotive sector is currently seeking to strengthen the quality team through the recruitment of either an experienced Quality Engineer within automotive or an automotive Quality technician who wishes to develop their career and who will be open to further training
Main Duties
• Direct and indirect customer contact focussing on Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, and the incorporation of Customer specific requirements to the quality management system
• New model introduction planning activities including all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) phases up to and beyond product launch
• 8D problem solving process
• Accessing key performance metrics and PPAP
Candidate Requirements
• You will be an experienced Quality Engineer / technician with a background within the automotive sector
• You will be familiar automotive methodology and ideally techniques such as 8D, Failures Modes and Effect Analysis, APQP, Statistical analysis methods
• Ideally you will be a graduate, or have minimum of HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ideally you will be familiar with the requirements of high volume automotive component supply
