| Job Elements: - • Develop both current and future equipment. • Conceptual and detail design, technical documentation, design calculations and feasibility studies. • Working in a progressive team of multi-disciplined engineers within the overall engineering department. • Although a mechanical position a knowledge of electrical and PLC systems would be very useful. • At times there will be a requirement to work within other teams within the group. The ideal candidate will have: • HND or Degree level in mechanical or related engineering subjects. • At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing industry designing special purpose machines or capital equipment. • AutoCAD is essential, Solidworks advantageous. • Manufacturing industry experience is essential. • Good general PC skills including all MS Office packages desirable. • Knowledge of power electrics advantageous.
