| JOB DESCRIPTION Working as part of an office-based team the job will involve responding to enquiries from potential clients and proactive telephoning. You will manage the recruitment of delegates for training courses at one of our nineteen UK centres. Duties (a) To achieve pre-determined sales targets. (b) To organise the despatch of mailers to promote courses. (c) To handle client enquiries promptly and efficiently. (d) To take course bookings and to communicate with the trainers. (e) To monitor bookings and take action to secure bookings to achieve targets. (f) To carry out proactive telesales and mailing for specific courses. (g) To ensure that supplies of all sales literature are adequately stocked. (h) To advise on opportunities for new courses. (i) To advise Sales Director/Sales Executives of opportunities for closed courses. (j) To advise Sales Director/Sales Executives of clients to be visited. (k) To maintain the Marketing Database through updating existing records and addition of new companies/organisations. (l) To work under and follow the ISO 9001 systems and procedures employed. Skills and Abilities p Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. p You must be a self-starter who is willing to accept responsibility for achieving targets and goals. p You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, keeping an open mind and an imaginative approach. Knowledge p Educated to A level standard or above. Experience p Previous telephone experience. Training p I.T. competence/experience. Other requirements p Need to work flexibly with colleagues to achieve team objectives p Industry experience and training experience. |
