Job Elements: -
• Direct and indirect customer contact focussing on Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), organising and leading Customer site visits, day to day concern handling and reporting, incorporation of Customer specific requirements to the quality management system.
• New model introduction planning activities including all Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) phases up to and beyond product launch.
• Systematic use of the 8D problem solving process to resolve Customer concerns.
• Accessing key performance metrics and reporting PPAP and key data via Customer internet portals.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Highly motivated individual.
• Fully conversant with modern quality assurance methods such as problem solving using 8D method, failure mode effect analysis, planning techniques and statistical analysis methods.
• Ideally a graduate with a minimum HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Previous quality experience from automotive manufacturing would be advantageous.
