Full Description:
Our client a rapidly expanding organisation based in Gwent is currently looking to appoint a Customer Service Advisor. This position is a mixture of face to face and over the telephone enquiries, dealing with the front-line public offering a service which benefits individuals. The ideal candidate will have an excellent attitude towards Customer Service and provide an efficient and informative point of contact for both the internal and the external customer. Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential.


Responsibilities:

• Providing help and advice to customers, using the company products or services
• Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, e-mail and face-to-face
• Logging and monitoring all inbound customer contacts
• Logging information onto the customer database, including scheduling meetings using an electronic diary
• Handle customer complaints in sensitive and appropriate manner, including follow-up to ensure action by contract management team
• Distributes incoming mail and postal dispatch requirements
• Understanding and adhering to the Data Protection Act, including strong emphasis on customer medical confidentiality where applicable
• Demonstrates good customer service skills and empathy
• Prioritises tasks and workload to ensure effective delivery of a high quality service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately communicates with all levels of customers
• Ability in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
• Tact and discretion
• Strong customer service skills with a pleasant, confident telephone manner

Benefits:

• £14,000 to £16,000
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm
• 25 days holiday
