Our clients are a fast expanding, highly successful market leading company. Due to expansion they are looking to employ a Recruitment Manager for their busy office based in Gwent. This position is not for the faint hearted and for the right candidate will offer a successful and rewarding career. The Recruitment Manager will manage a team of 11 sales staff and will deliver and manage government contracts.
Responsibilities:
• Maximising contract performance by fully understanding contractual obligations and performance targets
• Agreeing and setting targets with staff members to ensure both financial and contractual obligations are met and exceeded
• Effectively plan and control income and expenditure to ensure a profitable business by maximising contract performance
• Recruit, manage, develop and maintain discipline of staff employed in the local office
• Identify growth opportunities by sourcing and securing new leads in order to expand the income streams for the office
• Responsibility for health, safety and wellbeing of staff and customers, maintenance and security of the office building in line with company policy
• Maintain and develop positive internal and external communications
• Attend meetings with clients
• Promote equality of opportunity for staff and customers in all activities
• Attendance at meetings, seminars and training sessions in pursuit of continuous development
• Recruitment/LS Managers need to remain flexible. Duties can vary at times dependant upon contractual and/or organisational requirements and location
• Responsible for the management of an office, including operational, staffing and housekeeping responsibilities
Attributes:
• Demonstrable educational level commensurate with the needs and scope of the role
• Previous people management responsibility comparable to the scope of the office, in Recruitment or Retail Management which is target driven (Desirable but not essential)
• Experience gained within a commercial, customer-focused environment
• Previous budgetary management responsibility
• IT literate
