Our client, is a leading organisation with modern offices based in the South Wales area, they currently have an exciting opportunity to join their organisation as an HR Officer based in their Port Talbot.
Ideally you will be CIPD or part CIPD qualified and have some experience dealing with disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment, performance appraisals and have a good knowledge of employment.
You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing all procedures to ensre thecompany standards are achieved, legislative changes that affect the company proceadures, ensuring all personnel records are up to date and comply with data protection. To source and develop and evaluate training to ensure we achieve our corporate goals. Working with union representatives on local issues. You will also be responsible for the health and safety, welfare, environment and fire safety arrangements for yourself, customers and colleagues. To plan recruitment initiatives, in conjunction with training department. Ensure all records are copied and passed to the relevant business managers. To set and manage the training budget and the related resources.
Ensure personnel records are up to date and comply with Data Protection.
