Our client is a major international manufacturing company in the automotive sector. Due to continued success and growth an exciting opportunity has become available for a Packaging Planner to join the company.
Main Duties
· Customer packaging management from initial design start, through to waste elimination
· Daily liaison with customers and supply partners
· Coordination of new customer packaging introductions
· Management of customer packaging accounts and maintenance of packaging systems data
· Liaison with Sales and Finance teams to ensure packaging costs are managed and recovered effectively
Candidate requirements
Graduate – minimum of HND in a business related subject
German language is a requirements but other exceptional candidates will be considered
Experience of manufacturing processes and logistics supply chains
Knowledge of lean supply chain techniques
Working knowledge of SAP
Computer literate – internet, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
