The Client
Our client is an established and reputable business bank who has been in operation for over 25 years. Very much a family run business, they remain in touch with their customers whilst maintaining the commercial client base and resounding success to be highly thought of. They feed on professionalism allied to a thorough knowledge of the markets in which they operate combined with integrity and efficiency with a capacity for innovation. They now require an outstanding financial servies sales team leader to motivate, lead and ensure the profitability of there in house sales team.
Responsibilities
· To proactively assist the National Sales Manager to develop and maintain an effective telesales function
· Managing the smooth and effective running of the Broker Telesales Team
· Be fully conversant with Company products, policies and procedures, in order to fully meet company objectives
· Ensure the annual new business target is achieved/exceeded
· Direct and monitor the sales activities of the broker telesales team, using strong leadership skills in order to ensure team success
· Ensure that staffing levels are maintained and that telesales staff are coached, trained, motivated
· Ensure that all reporting and management information is produced
· Maintain compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including, but not exhaustively, Data Protection, Money Laundering, Health & Safety, FSA, Employment and other legislative requirements
· All associated management duties, recruitment, training, performance management etc
Experience / Attributes
· Preferably educated to A level, degree standard
· FPC 1, 2 and 3 qualified, (Or Cmap equivalent)
· Mortgage experience and /or Equity release experienced beneficial
· Extensive experience within sales and performance management within an outbound, target driven sales environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Good negotiation and interpersonal skills, confident communicator
· Ability to motivate and enthuse
· An encouraging team player motivate by success
· A proven, consistent achiever
