    We are currently recruiting for a leading financial services institution based in the Centre of Cardiff close to all public transport links.


    Role:

    This is a varied role for any experienced Customer Service advisors looking for a position which can offer variety

    Key Accountabilities ·

    Actively engage build trust with customers throughout any conversations providing advice appropriate to their circumstances. ·

    Negotiate with customers in difficulty, on how best to bring their accounts up-to-date or to agree a suitable payment plan that works for both the customer and the business. ·

    Identify and explore the changes in customer circumstances that have led to current difficulties in making payments. ·

    Clarify customer information and update systems accurately by asking questions and listening actively. ·
    Identify and collections situations that might required specialist handling (e.g. fraud or money laundering) and refer these on to the appropriate area. ·

    Ensure that all actions that are taken follow company guidelines and meet legal and regulatory requirements. ·
    Taking card payments over the phone.

    Key Skills / Experience

    ·Previous customer service or collections experience would be desirable, but not essential.
    ·Good communication / telephony skills with the ability and confidence to negotiate with customers.
    ·Excellent PC skills  comfortable using email and MS Word.
    ·Comfortable working as part of a team
    ·Self motivated with a high level or accuracy / attention to detail.
    ·Knowledge of data protection legislation would be desirable.

    Hours are between 8am  8pm, Monday to Sunday. But usual working hours for the department are Monday  Thursday, 9am to 7pm, Friday  9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm. Late and weekend shifts are on a rota basis
