Job Elements:
• To oversee all site purchasing activity.
• Conduct logical purchasing decision making processes.
• To implement supplier management policies, including performance management and review.
• To negotiate contracts.
• Participation in sourcing, selection, supplier management and development as directed.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Must have previous procurement experience.
• Commercially aware.
• Team Management Experience.
• Proven track record of Procurement Systems improvements.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply preferred, Degree/ HND highly desirable.
• Heavy industry experience.
