The role: -
• Responsible for the running of day to day activities within the warehouse and despatch area.
• Management of staff to support inbound, internal and outbound logistics activities.
• Confirm and identify all products receipting / dispatching are processed onto the required systems in a timely manner.
• Receipt of raw materials; storage; issue to production; picking and despatch.
• There will be some involvement with distribution and transport.
• Monitor and action lot expiry to ensure that materials are available for use.
• Inventory accuracy as measured by perpetual inventory check system.
• Stock Management.
• Smooth running of Goods in/out.
• Ensure Quality standards are adhered to.
What the company is looking for in the successful candidate:
• Previous experience of managing a stores or warehouse area essential.
• Previous manufacturing industry experience essential, desirable to have experience of FMCG / FOOD.
• Good Time Management.
• Work well under pressure.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience of effective planning, communication and delegation activities.
• IT literate.
