To support Social Workers within the Social Worker’s case management responsibilities, to provide a service to children in need and their families. SUMMARY OF MAIN DUTIES/KEY TASKS OF THE POST To contribute to inter-agency working by: Developing working relationships Sharing information Co-ordinating services for individual cases Developing knowledge of local arrangements, services and sources of advice for supporting and safeguarding children Undertaking specified tasks together with other agencies. Experience Experience of communicating with children and young people. Ability to listen to and understand children and young people. A commitment to working towards a relevant National Vocational Qualification and to attain it within an agreed time frame. |
