Full Description:
Job Elements: -
• Manufacturing and Packaging machinery setting, repair and maintenance.
• Process monitoring, Continuous Improvement.
• To carry out the setting, repair, maintenance, process improvements and process monitoring on manufacturing and packaging equipment, and services.
• Hours of Work: 38 (Shifts – Mornings /Afternoons / Nights)

Knowledge and Skills required for the role: -
• ONC/City & Guilds Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to Multi Skill, Mechanical/Electrical or Electrical/Mechanical.
• Previous experience of working on complex automated machinery preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Machine setting skills.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Able to read and understand electrical and pneumatic drawings.
• Able to fault find on voltages from 415vac to 24vdc.
• Able to work with Process monitoring and efficiency tools such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Experience of working within a continuous improvement environment and ability to use tools such as Root Cause Analysis and PFMEA.
