| TECHNICAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE Our client, a large manufacturer based in Cardiff, are currently recruiting for a Technical Marketing Executive. The candidate will be a self motivated graduate structural or civil engineer with good experience in designing structures. This candidate will be responsible for technical market development activities, in a variety of areas: - Working with customers to develop and promote advantages in on site construction, with the aim of increasing the use of reinforced concrete in the UK. - Making presentations to clients, contractors, reinforcing fabricators, consulting engineers and industry professionals. - Working with the construction industry to develop and establish methods and schemes for the responsible sourcing and sustainable procurement of construction materials - Working closely with the Concrete Centre and other associations to market concrete reinforcement products. - Liaising with universities to identify and fund research projects on the benefits of high ductility reinforcement and reinforced concrete design - Utilising construction and steel industry statistical bodies to gain market information on UK construction, steel production and imports/exports of steel products to make future market predictions - Designing Company literature and organising corporate hospitality events.
