Full Description:
Job Elements: -

• You will be responsible for the electro-mechanical maintenance of core production equipment including resistance welding machines, nut feeders and assembly jigs.
• Identifying and carrying out improvements to equipment and processes, to improve quality and or efficiency.
• Identifying and carrying out improvements to equipment to improve quality and or efficiency.
• Working with production staff to identify production issues, developing countermeasures and implementing improvements to process performance.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on equipment and site facilities.
• Maintaining site services e.g. heating, water system, drainage, security.

The ideal candidate will have: -

• HNC in related discipline preferable, must be time served mechanical.
• Experience in servo drives / controllers.
• Pneumatics / Hydraulics.
• Resistance welding techniques: understanding and programming of equipment for welding.
• PLC experience.
• Experience and understanding of Robotics Programming (Nachi, Motoman, Fanuc).
