Job Summary
Providing comprehensive support to the Operations Manager, you will be a skilled administrator, able to work on your own initiative to deadlines and under pressure.
You will have demonstrable verbal and written communication skills, be highly organised and have the ability to multi-task.
Essential Skills
The successful candidate must have knowledge and experience of:
· Site operations
· Material Procurement
· Site management
· Tendering and cost ananlysis
· Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook to a high standard
Desirable
· Experience of Microsoft project applications
· Construction related qualifications
Job Description (in brief)
· Liaising with suppliers, utilities, councils, contractors, and other professionals on costings, payments, etc.
· Keep Job Cards up-to-date.
· Maintain and update flowcharts to monitor work in progress.
· Maintenance issues on properties – dealing with tenants, contractors, etc.
· Compiling reports and issuing updates.
· Research for new build projects.
· Arranging meetings with surveyors, architects, local authority officials and other professionals.
· Organising diaries, contact lists and tasks in Outlook.
· Provide administrative service and assist in the development of administrative systems.
· Deal with in-coming mail, email, faxes and telephone calls.
