Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Accounts Department.
More specific duties will include:
• Day-to-day financial control of the business
• Product monthly management accounts
• Produce annual statutory accounts
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• P&L analytical review and variance analysis
• VAT returns
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Manage cash flow
• Debtor day calculation and monitoring
• KPI generation and review
You will have excellent technical accounting ability and will be fully conversant with the latest FSA regulatory standards. You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), be an effective communicator with strong influencing skills and have demonstrable commerciality with a proven track record of influencing business decision making.
