    The Client

    As an account manager, you will focus on identification of target companies within South Wales. You will identify a bespoke strategy for target business within the context of client capabilities. You will have a proven ability to source and engage prospective customers at a high level and close business. The role is a field account manager and will involve you being on the road at client appointments for a large proportion of your week.

    Responsibilities

    · Delivering incremental revenue sales through B2B media sales activity
    · Generating new custom and increasing account client spend
    · Identifying and maximising cross-selling opportunities
    · Cooperating with other Sales Teams for cross boarder sales opportunities
    · Ensuring regular and on-going communication within the Sales Team
    · Co-operating within a team, providing support to other team members and the Sales Manager, contributing ideas and energy to a new team and identifying the best solutions to achieve sales targets and to assist with marketing planning and implementation
    · Researching potential prospects, manage sales pipelines and keeping a consistent sales cycle
    · Completing the required volume of business meetings including client presentations via power point etc

    Experience / Attributes

    · Strong business 2 business field sales experience in a multi-functional business environment, preferably media sales
    · Strong educational background with good business acumen
    · Proven closing ability and a proven track record of sales to large/multinational accounts
    · Ability to cold call clients and book potential sales appointments
    · Relationship builder AND maintainer
    · Ability to learn new skills and products quickly and effectively
    · Excellent language skills
    · Strong IT, communication and interpersonal skills
