Job Description

• Implement, benchmark and develop effective supply chains to meet business requirements.
• Benchmark of current and potential suppliers
• Develop purchase strategy
• Develop supply chain partnerships
• Assessment and development of supply chain
• Liaise with Quality Dept on supplier performance
• Monitor and manage supplier performance
• Negotiation of best (cost effective) package
• Drive continuous cost reduction in materials
• Create VA/VE opportunities
• Inventory management
• Supplier rationalisation and consolidation

The ideal candidate will have:

• CIPS qualification, or working towards
• Commodity dependant experience (electrical)
• Experience of Procurement for the Military and Aerospace industry.
