Job Description

• Responsible for maintaining technical specifications internally and externally.
• Providing legal text on packaging specifications.
• To manage and maintain translations for packaging, and monitoring changes in legislation and communicating the same.
• Verification of ingredients and recipes for all food items.
• Generation of technical files to used to create on pack legal labelling
• Verification of artwork / packaging
• Arrange and maintain records of microbiological and analytical testing
• Shelf life verification plans
• Monitoring changes and ensuring compliance with EU food safety directives.
• Provide technical QA support to the project teams

The ideal candidate will have: -

• Ideally Degree level education in a food related subject (OND/HNC minimum)
• Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum Level 2)
• Ideally previous experience in a food service environment.
• Previous clerical/administration experience is essential
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Attention to detail
• Accuracy
