Job Description

  • To ensure that internal & external requirements are met or exceeded through achievement of the highest standards of quality, productivity and business integrity.
  • To drive the progression of systems/procedures and processes, thereby improving productivity via fault analysis and improvement/resolution.
  • To establish and promote world class customer satisfaction and business practices.
  • To lead a pro-active CIP strategy and culture within the business utilising improvement tools such as DOE, SPC, 5S and FMEA.
  • To report shortfalls in existing processes and procedures, and to drive Continuous Improvement activities through machine/process efficiency and cycle time reduction in all areas.
  • To improve quality levels of all processes, focussing on the primary resource for the company - people.
  • Drive review of quality and production performance to promote analysis of problems, and instigate robust containment, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide co-ordination of customers’ quality related requirements and concerns.
  • Develop and simplify work processes towards the elimination of waste including the utilisation of standard practices wherever possible.

  • High volume manufacturing environment
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Engineering discipline/qualification
  • IMDS administration
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile manufacturing processes.
  • Good understanding of modern manufacturing methodologies and their implementation.
  • Extensive process/product knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the relevant automotive quality system (ISO TS 16949).
