Job Description

Legal Conveyancing Assistant

My client requires an experienced Conveyancing Assistant, to work as part of their growing Conveyancing department.

An ability to work as part of a team, backed with excellent organisational and communication skills is essential. A friendly, professional and outgoing telephone manner is also crucial, as our client is very customer service focused.

Salary - £12,500-£15,000 negotiable on experience.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. The role is to support Fee Earners in all aspects of their work and responsibilities to ensure they are able to operate efficiently at all times
  2. To work as part of a conveyancing team effectively and efficiently
  3. To carry out work incidental to the progression of conveyancing, matters within a conveyancing team
  4. You will be dealing directly with clients and colleagues on the fee earner's behalf and processing all necessary correspondence and documents.
  5. To respond in an appropriate manner to client instructions
  6. To deal with incoming post efficiently
  7. To keep informed and updated on conveyancing developments
  8. Other tasks as from time to time delegated by the fee earner
