Job Description

Category Manager with construction/major works procurement experience

[temporary, but potentially long term role – see below]

• What is involved with this role:

Detailed JD awaited, but this is a senior procurement role requiring specialist expertise within construction projects/major works.

• Giving yourself the best chance of success:

• Essential Requirements – Your CV will be rejected (without notification) unless it clearly demonstrates that you have the following:

1. UK working experience
2. Minimum of 5 years corporate procurement experience relating to construction/major building works, preferably within a large (ideally public sector) organisation
3. Project Management experience (Prince 2 preferred)
4. Microsoft Office skills

• Division(s)/Disciplines involved: Corporate Procurement

• Anticipated Length of Assignment: All of our roles are designated temporary, though in practice we find that the vast majority of them get extended on a multiple/long term basis. This one is expected to be for 12 months, initially.

• Hours per week: 35-37 (tbc) Monday – Friday, normal working hours
