Engineering Shift Co-Ordinator

Swansea

My client a World class provider is recruiting for a quality Shift Coordinator to manage the team. My client offers an excellent salary and benefits, pension, healthcare, dental care, PRP, and an excellent working environment.

The primary role of this position is to provide front line preventative maintenance activity and rapid diagnosis and repair by prioritising. You will be required to have an excellent working knowledge of safety procedures and be able to lead the team in achieving their objectives. Key skills required are - Strong HSE ethic and knowledge of procedures Having the ability to maximise utilisation of the team and delegates Accurate shift reporting Understanding KPI's and managing the team to meet them Strives for personal and team development Essential technical skills for this role include - Proven experience in a medium/heavy engineering Management role Qualified mechanical or electrical engineering background to at least HNC level Experience in managing contractors and working knowledge of all permit processes required Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages Excellent written and verbal communication skills
