Quality Engineer
South Wales

£24,000-£26,000 + benefits
A leading worldwide automotive supplier is looking to add a quality engineer to its successful engineering team. The role is based with their South Wales production facility, which is experiencing a large degree of growth and prosperity. An experienced, self motivated quality engineer is required to ensure their recognised standards are upheld throughout the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
oMaintaining quality function in a quality engineer capacity
oSupervising and leading quality technicians
oLeading TS16949 standard audits
oProject responsibility in new product development, including PPAP and APQP processes
oOverseeing customer and supplier quality
oEnsuring preparation of all appropriate quality documentation
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
oPrevious experience in a quality engineering role
oAutomotive quality or knowledge of the TS16949 standard is essential
oGood engineering background
