    Our client is a rapidly expanding company offering LPA receivership services to lenders where borrowers have defaulted under buy to let mortgages.

    They are currently looking to appoint 3 Reporting Officers to expand the reporting department at their new offices in Cardiff city centre. You might be a paralegal/mortgage advisor/case worker with at least 2 years experience of working within a similar professional environment and looking to secure an exciting role within a growing firm that can offer some stability and opportunity to make a real difference in these turbulent times.

    Reporting Officers will play a crucial role in driving the business forward and will be responsible for creation of Exit Strategy Reports in accordance with prescribed guidelines and to demanding timescales. They will ensure internal compliance with our existing systems and procedures before sending the reports to the lenders. This role will include an element of investigative work, liaising with our appointed asset managers and property management agencies and ultimately production of a unique, highly professional and polished product.

    It is envisaged that for the first 3 months the appointment will be made on a temporary basis, with a view to permanent appointments being made subject to consistent satisfactory performance. All the necessary training will be given and continuous coaching and support will be provided.

    The successful candidates will hold a degree in Estate Management/Law/Business Administration or a related professional area. Candidates educated to A-level with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience will also be considered. They must be highly articulate and possess excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret property and financial information for reporting purposes and good research skills are essential for this post. Successful candidates would be confident self-starters who can consistently produce high quality reports working on their own initiative to a set target. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and high-level presentation skills are a must.


    Job Summary:
    To work within a team that has specific responsibility for the development and submission of various property reports, predominantly LPA Receiver Exit Strategy Reports.
    Main tasks:
    • Analyse information provided by the lender, asset managers and property management agencies
    • Gather research about individual properties, to include geographical locations, local property market trends, saleability and any other associated issues using various sources
    • Maintain knowledge of and complying with existing internal systems and procedures
    • Produce the final reports to demanding timescales
    • Update the master schedule in collaboration with other departments
    • Undertake monthly reporting of the progress to the Director and meet demanding timescales

    Person specification
    • Educated to a degree standard and have at least 2 years experience of working within a professional environment
    • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills are essential
    • Legal or property sector experience is highly desirable
    • Possess excellent presentation skills with great attention to detail
    • Have good analytical skills and high levels of articulation
    • Ability to work on own initiative and efficiently manage own caseload in accordance with prescribed internal procedures
